Plethora of Everything

        Recently I changed the name of my blog to  Be Your Best You!     I purchased a new domain and am working to spruce things up online.     This is out of my comfort zone since I'm not a tech-savvy person.     I am, however, a long-time-practitioner of creative visualization, meditation and energy healing.         At 38 years old I'm grateful to have: my health, a loving, healthy husband and son, my education and a little dog walking business (I could go on but I won't!).         I feel fortunate and proud to primarily be a stay at home mom with my nearly-4-year-old-son, although I know that's not for everyone!     There's no 'one size fits all' in life.         Along the way I've learned a lot through trial and error and feel enlightened much of the time.     Hopefully some of what I've learned, and practice on a daily basis, can he...

I am part of the grand plan, the design of life. As the flower has its place to grow, so do I. We are here to live, learn, love and grow. Life is a journey. None of us are perfect but through openness to the eternal grace of the Universe/God we can grow closer to perfection and perfect bliss with each passing moment. Joy is yours. Joy is mine. We all are worthy of joy. The more joy we feel, the more we can share, hence making the world a better place. Love lives within me. I'm doing the best I can and every day I grow, learn and do better, easily, at a pace that's comfortable for me.

    How is it that a woman gets more respect and adoration from her partner when she's merely courted by him than when she's his wife, which entails: caring for his child 70+ hours a week, preparing his meals nightly, washing his dirty laundry, cleaning his house and listening to him snore? Free jpeg via google.com     One would think a woman would earn at least 5 times the respect and adoration she experienced as a man's 'girlfriend' once she's his wife, and the mother of his child.     Yet all too often it seems to reverse- respect and adoration dwindle as the woman's role becomes more and more demanding. Footnote: As is often the case in relationships, 24 hours can make a huge difference! Thankfully my spouse and I are getting along much better today than yesterday (which is when I wrote this post).

The God I believe in- Universal Intelligence and Infinite Love- doesn't desire suffering for any living thing. The God I believe in wants you, me and everyone to be happy and joyful. It's our right and duty to live happily, gleefully, full of love and joy. Life is for the living... breathing, smelling, tasting, seeing, feeling... beautiful, wonderful things. We must surround ourselves with joy. We must emulate joy in all we do. We're here to be happy. It's our God-given right to be joyful and happy. Life is about laughing, fun and being downright bubbly with pure happiness. Why would the Universe/God wish anything else for us? God is Love. If you can accept and believe this then you shall know that love emulates love and, love feels good. God is Love. God is in every living thing. I am a living thing so God is in me. Originally written and published on my blog 2/12/12... I'm writing about Love,  in honor of Valentine's day. One may question, "What could anyone possibly say about   Love that hasn't already been said a million times, in a million different ways?" The answer is- nothing. I cannot say a single thing new or original about  Love .  Reason being: it existed long before you and me. It is the original . Every amazing, loving feeling I've ever felt, and you've ever felt, whether it be for our pets, a tree, our Moms, our kids, our partners- has been felt by eons of people and animals before us, and will be felt by eons of people and animals after us. -That recognition alone puts Love into perspective and makes it more perplexing all at once.  Love has been around since the beginning of time, and if you really want to delve,  Love began time as we know it- all creation is of good and of Love .
